Sony convention 2008, the hands-on

Hot ride
Hot ride

During Sony Convention, we had a class from Darren Chang how to shoot cars and bikes. We had a hands on session with 2 bikes. This was the bike that lighted under a big softbox. Too bad, I don't have the chance to use the strobe trigger.

Glittering and shining of metal exhaust pipes, ah, the girls are out of my frame. This is better. Harleys are best with shining metals.

How fast can you go?
How fast can you go?

This was the bike that lighted under a big softbox. Too bad, I don't have the chance to use the strobe trigger. However, I kinda like the outcome with only lighting from the softbox light bulb. This was the point I found my kit lens focusing gear screwed up. The gear stuck and there's a loud drilling sound from the in-body focusing screw drive. This picture was one of the last picture taken before the lens K.O.

The back seat is empty. Do you want a free ride? ^_^

This the same Ducati from the previous picture. This also means another hands-on assignment completed by a good student. LOL. I took this picture after my kit lens focus gear striped and swapped with a Minolta 35-70 f/4.
